Obituary of Maurice William Smith

SMITH, Maurice William Peacefully, while surrounded by his family, in his 94th year at the Shaver Hospital on Friday, February 4th. Maurice is predeceased by his wife Ann (1973) and his brother Stephan. Survived by his sons Larry(Robina), Peter(Gail) and Kenneth (Glenna) and his brother Alan (Reta). He will also be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Maurice was a respected tool and die maker in St. Catharines for his entire life. Maurice is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines where his family will receive visitors on Monday, February 7th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, February 8th at am. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens after the service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
