Obituary of Linda Holowchuk

Holowchuk, Linda Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 25, 2004. Linda Holowchuk 56 years of age; beloved wife of Peter for 36 years, loving mother of Steve and his wife Cheryl, Leah and her husband Glen Hopkinson, loving Nana of Troy and Tiana and loving Gamma of Paige, dear sister of Judy and her husband Len Warrington, special aunt to Kyle and his wife Regina, Melanie and Randy Warrington and great aunt to Alyssa and Rachel, daughter of Joan and the late Steve Hango, special daughter-in-law of Peter and Edith Holowchuk. Linda was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Linda enjoyed 23 special years as a caring secretary with the District School Board of Niagara. Linda is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where a service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. Visiting Hours Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Beta Sigma Phi Sorority service will be held on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Princess Margaret Hospital or the Lincoln County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital, to Dr. Sandra Hartman and to all who have supported Linda and family over the past 5 difficult months.
