Obituary of John Ford

FORD, JOHN (JACK) Peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Meadows of Dorchester, Niagara Falls at 87 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Lillian Ford. Loving father of Carol Handley (Bill), John Ford (Catharine), and Joe Ford (Ola). dear grandfather of Cheryl, Colleen, Carrie, Bill Jr., Michael, Wylie, Hailey, Devlin and Jarrett. predeceased by grandaughter Meaghan. Great grandfather of Caitlyn, Jordan, Jared, Ciara, Kassie, Jesse, Sierra, Will, Mia and Joey. Jack was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, he spent many years servicing West St. Catharines with milk delivery. Jack is resting the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 11 a.m. Rite of committal in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Visiting Hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Meadows of Dorchester or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
