Obituary of Ronald LaRue

LaRue Ronald Denis (Lash) After a brave battle with cancer, Ron passed away on Monday June 13, 2005 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at 64 years of age. Beloved husband of Cecile for 45 wonderful years. Loving father of Sharon and Lou Braida, Joanne and Pete Chernecki, Lisa and Robin Mallory, Robert and Johanne LaRue. Cherished Papa of Rylan, Keegan, Christine, Bradley, Jordan, Zachary, Owen and Ethan. Dear brother of Dianne Audit, Richard and Patricia LaRue, Patricia (Pitter Pat) and Len Boudreau, Allen LaRue and Cathy Clarke. Cherished by special Aunt and Uncle, Lee and Colonel Preece. Ron will be lovingly missed by many family, co-workers and friends. Ron recently retired from Ontario Power Generation in Niagara Falls. He was a proud member of the bluegrass band "Niagara Blue" Ron is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. where a service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:30am. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Hotel Dieu Oncology Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
