Obituary of Mary Dubovec

DUBOVEC, Mary Passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, May10th in her 92nd year. Survived by her loving children of Joseph (Cassie) Dubovec and Helen (Richard) Snazyk. Beloved grandma of Ricky. She will be missed by her many friends and family in Canada and Czechoslovakia. Predeceased by her husband Milos (1971). She was a member in the Slovak League and took great pride and happiness in cooking for the members of the Slovak Hall for many decades. Mary is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines where her family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 12th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:30pm . A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church, Vine Street, St. Catharines on Friday, May, 13th at 11 am. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Alzhiemers Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank the staff of Versa Care and the St. Catharines General Hospital Emergency Department for their care and compassion.
