Obituary of Boleslaw (Peter) Kowolik

KOWOLIK, BOLESLAW (Peter) On Saturday, May 7, 2005 at the Shaver Hospital at age 81. Loving husband of Evelyn. Cherished father of Paula Kowolik of Thorold, John & Kendra Kowolik of Toronto, Stefan & Nancy Kowolik of Whitby and Grandpa of Kira, Krysztof, Aidan & Claire. Brother Florian of Poland. Predeceased by his brother Rudolph. Peter worked for 23 years at Dana Corporation, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Branch 418 of The Royal Canadian Legion. Peter's family will receive relatives and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Interment, Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil Prayers will be held Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral Home. Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 418 will hold a service, Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial remembrances made to the Shaver Hospital or Cancer Research would be appreciated by his family.
