TO Aunt Ann's family, my deepest sympathy, and prayers.
It was nice to see Aunt Ann's picture on the web site. I am sorry that I could not be there, but my prayers were with you. I always enjoyed visiting at Aunt Ann and Uncle Con's home on Carlton St. I thought they had the neatest sink in the corner with the kitchen windows above. What things we remember from our childhood. I enjoyed their warm hospitality, on my vacation from the farm.
God Bless
Peggy

To my cousins and their families,
I don't remember getting popsicles at Aunt Ann's house. I think Mary Ann made that up. She's been known to do that.
Sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral home last week, but you were all in my thoughts and prayers. I count my blessings every day that I still have both of my parents, and know it can't be easy for any of you.
I hope many happy memories carry you all through. Remember her with a smile.
Love Jane

Ann's children and siblings, please accept my condolence. It was always very clear that Ann's family and her religious faith were sources of strength. Ann is again with Con and her brothers.
In remembering Ann I think of her as a very strong, feisty, family oriented lady. My first memories of Ann were of a frightened, tired wife trying her hardest to protect and help her husband.
A different side of Ann surfaced during her stay @ Henley House. The impish grin, the twinkle in her eye when she knew she'd done something against the rules, such as the time she thought she'd just walk over to Margaret's home, "not far from here" scaring us silly, or the time we couldn't figure out the source of the smell of burned matches, only to find that Ann had been proudly demonstrating her candle to co-residents!
Ann was a very special lady, of whom I grew extremely fond. Ann left the world a better place.

Bob... My deepest sympathy on the passing of your wonderful mom. I have very fond memories of her because of all the wonderful stories I've heard about her fulfilled life. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I will always treasure the memories and will always be thankful for all the love she gave my sister Babes as one of her own.

I am not sure if you remember me or not. I did want to extend my deepest sympathy to you all during this difficult time. This has been a very difficult last few months with the loss of Sabrina, and now your mom and grandmother. I have very fond memories of Mrs. Mettler. She always made me feel welcome at the many family events. She was a kind, sweet and funny lady. It was always obvious to me how much she loved and adored her family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Take Care,
Jen Miller (Rankin)

On behalf of my mom, Elsie Andermatt, and my two sisters I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. My memories of your mom and dad are always good ones. Both of them always had a smile and and generous heart. Mom and dad always looked forward to their night of Yuzz (I think I spelled it right) with Con and Ann. Mom remembers living as a little girl with the Kretz family when they came over from Switzerland. Ann would have been about 17 years old at that time.

We were so blessed to have Aunt Ann in our home for a wonderful visit shortly before Christmas. She played the old family piano and her cherished organ. With Aunt Agnes, my mom and dad (Margaret and Alphonse) we sang and savored each other

I'll always remember as a teenage, when living in my grandparents home on Patricia Dr., we would stop by Aunt Ann's and Uncle Con's on the way to Towers. For sure Aunt Ann would try and feed us. Even if we insisted we just ate she would give us a popcyle because that's didn't count as food. Kretz relatives are the best! My prayers are for the reunion going on in heaven as I write this and for the family I have who miss their dear mother, grandmother, sister etc.
Love,
Mary Ann
