Obituary of Olga Alexandra Sosiak

SOSIAK, Olga Alexandra (August 1, 1916- May 22, 2006) While surrounded by her loving family, Olga passed away very peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on May 22, 2006 while in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Mike Sosiak (1990), daughter Gloria Marcynuk (1992), son-in-law Paul Mumby (1996), sister Sophie Yurchuk and brothers Steve and Walter Babyn. She will be forever missed by her children Paul (Jan), David (his dogs Magnum and Hunter) and MaryAnn (Scott) Bradley. Much loved Bobbi to, Michael and John Marcynuk, Sarah, Joanna and John Sosiak, Matthew and Chad Mumby and Great Grandson Austin Paul Mumby. Olga's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday , May 24th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Panachyda (in English) at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:30pm. Divine Liturgy at St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church, 91Lakeshore Rd., St. Catharines on Thursday, May 25th at 11am. Burial to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Community Care or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
