Obituary of Elvira DiPaola

DiPaola, Elvira (nee:Celetti) Peacefully on Thursday May 18th, 2006 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at 95 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Vito. Loving mother of Gerardo and Rafaella, Rosa and Pietro Gentile,Nicola and Lorenza, Michele and Olga, Pasquale and Grace and Annette and Jerry DiPaola. Loving Nonna of 13 grandchildren, and 13 greatgrandchildren. Elvira is predeceased by one grandson, brothers and sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends. Mrs. DiPaola was born on August 4th, 1910 in Guardia Lombardi. Italy. She was a member of St. Alfreds Church. Mrs. DiPaola is resting at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday at 9:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfreds Church at 9:30am. Entombment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 4:00pm. Visiting hours are Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family
