Obituary of Hildegard Prokop

PROKOP, Hilde (Bleek) Passed away peacefully on May 10th, 2006 at Tabor Manor in her 87th year. Devoted wife of Wolfgang and beloved mother of Karl (Beate) Goennemann. Much loved grandmother of Lorraine (Roger) Wiseman, Rachel (Sylvain) Campbell and Tamara (David) McLeod. She will also be missed by her 5 great-grandchildren and her many family and friends. Predeceased by her first husband Karl Heinz Goennemann who was killed in World War II, her brother Gerhard and her sister Johanna. Hilde's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, May 18th from 10-11:30am. A service to celebrate her life will follow in the funeral chapel at 12 noon. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
