Sweetheart was a great childhood friend when we both lived in Joggins. We went our own way through our marriages and relocated We moved to Mississauga in 1967 and later reconnected, being close to St. Catharines. There were many unforgettable memories, such as the hilarious time Al and Sweetheart began singing "High-Mass" songs together in an echoing old Lighthouse at the Bay of Fundy. Victor and I started to realize they were getting quite an audience as other tourists stop to listen.
As a longtime friend and family, I regret I cannot be with you, but I send my love and prayers.
