Obituary of Fern Muzyka
MUZYKA, Fern
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, April 30th at the St. Catharines General Hospital while in her 76th year.
Beloved mother of Di (Rob) Doucette, Lola Muzyka, Bob (Terry) Meunier, Suzanne Bland, Louise (Gord) Rivett, Lorraine Sills, Lise (Reinhart) Suelzle and stepmother of Rudy (Sandy) Muzyka, Rodney (Leslie) Muzyka and Barb (John) Stasiw. Devoted grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband Gerry Meunier (1964), her second husband Stan Muzyka (1999), her step daughter Melody Dekker (September 2005).
Mom was a special lady with many talents. She was involved in the Central Gospel choir and drama's. She was fondly known as the "Cake Lady" for her delectable and unique creations.
Fern's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Tuesday, May 2nd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service to celebrate her life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, May 3rd at 11am. Cremation to follow.
If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
