Obituary of Khamdeng Phankham

Phankham, Khamdeng - On Saturday April 22, 2006 Khamdeng (1928-2006), after a courageous battle with cancer, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ. At his daughter's home surrounded by his loving family singing his favourite hymn "Amazing Grace". Beloved and dedicated husband to his wife Kesone for 57 years. Loving father to Marc Dangeng, Eng Tieng, Khamsene Do, Kio (Kay) Chang, Manithong (Mary) Fung, Syda (Syd), and Amphone (Angela) Yau Tam Sang and their spouses. Cherished Jagong, Gongong and Gongtai to his 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Survived by his 3 brothers and 1 sister and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and 1 sister. Khamdeng is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. A celebration of Mr. Phankham's life will take place on Saturday at 9am. Interment will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
