Obituary of Johanna Reid Clark

Clark, Johanna Reid (nee McFall) - Peacefully on Thursday April 21 ,2006 surrounded by her loving family at home in her 71st year. Beloved wife of John Clark for over 50 years. Loving mother of Ann Weatherson (Jim) of St. Catharines, Linda Young (Mark) of Niagara Falls, Joanne of St. Catharines, Sandra Gay-Clark (Dean) of St. Catharines and John of St. Catharines. Cherished grandmother to her 9 grandchldren Brent , Ashely, Brandon, Steven, Liz, Daniel, Brianne, Katherine and Kayla and 1 great-grandson Ross. Survived by her brother Jack McFall, cousins Rose Fielding (Walter), Kathleen Meikle (Bill) of Peterborough, Maria McGovern (Brian) and Jean Cassidy (Willie) of Scotland, Helen McFall of Rochester, N.Y. and close friends Josie Meechan. Johanna workerd at Sears for 25 years from 1965 to 1990. She was an active member of the Scottish Club and Celtic Club and also belonged to the parish of St. Mary of the Assumption. Our gratitude goes to Dr. Manjos and Dr. Wong (Toronto), Paramed nurses, Com Care. The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until Monday at 10am. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption at 10:30am. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers for Johanna will be held on Sunday in the funeral home at 8:30pm. Memorial remembrances may be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Associaton of Ontario in Johanna's memory.
