Dear Jasmin, Laura and Michael,I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am for your loss. I have such fond memories of Uncle Joey and will never forget that sparkle in his eyes even up until 2 days ago. We chatted while he ate some dinner about the Toronto Maple Leafs and even laughed a little at how bad they were doing. I will never forget the times we spent growing up and especially the past 3 weeks. I thank God that I was able to spend as much time with him as I could, and help him with his dinners.
He looked so comfortable and peaceful when I left the hospital last night and I am glad I have that final memory of him. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and I will miss him a lot.
Please know that I am a phone call away if you need me for anything.
I love all of you,
Love Christel

Jason,
I must apologize for forgetting to put your name in my last condolence. I was deeply touched with how attentive you were with Uncle Joe on my visits to the hospital. You treated him like he was your own father. Jasmin is blessed to have you in her life.
Love Christel

God looked around his garden and found
an empty space
He then looked down upon the earth and saw
your tired face
He put His arms around you, and lifted you
to rest
God's garden must be beautiful, for He only
takes the best
He saw the road was getting rough and the
hills were hard to climb
So He closed your weary eyes and whispered
"FPeace shall now be thine"
It breaks our hearts to lose you, but you do
not go alone
For part of us went with you, when you
were called to home.
Laura, We love you and just want you to know that we are thinking of you and wish we were there to give you a huge hug...I will remember Joe with fondest of memories of our youth...he had a great smile...he has a great daughter!!!! Please send our very warmest and heartfelt condolences to Michael and to Jasmin.
love you, Cindy, Jeff, Kate and Ben x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0

Dad, my e-mail is to you. I miss you so much. I miss your daily phone calls, even though sometimes after 12 times, they drove me crazy, but if only the clock could be turned back. You are in peace now, probably the first time in so many years. Please say hello to everyone up there for me, espechally Nana, give her a big hug and kiss. Please check in on me whenever you can, just to make sure I am ok. I know you will be busy but I know you will be with me. I will never forget the last night we spent together just hours before you died. I will cherish thoses memories for the rest of my life. I know you were in so much pain but it passed. You are finally at peace, no more pain, you can travel the world.
I love you Dad, you will be in my heart forever.
Till we meet, hugs and kisses
Laura
