Suddenly after an illness on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS. Ettore was born in Italy in 1935. Beloved husband of Fermina, loving father of Gabriella, dear son-in-law of Algisa DiZio, loving brother of Teresa (the late Vincenzio) Costantini, Fioravanti and Concetta, Antonio and Elfina, Maria and Angelo Ciarma of Belgium, Pietro and Liliana, brother-in-law of Fred and Jane DiZio, loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Verina. Mr. Marrone was a member of St. Alfred's Church and Club Roma. He worked for the City of St. Catharines for 45 years before retiring.
Mr. Marrone is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 9 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Visiting Hours Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers for Mr. Marrone will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 3 p.m. Memorial Remembrances to Wellspring Niagara or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Thank you to all the staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital.
