Obituary of Francesco Cardo

CARDO FRANCESCO (Frank) On Sunday March 26, 2006, at 56 years of age, after a courageous battle with cancer, Frank passed away peacefully with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Marina (nee: Di Vincenzo) for 33 years. Devoted father of Stephanie (Pino) Fratangelo of St. Catharines and Elena (Michael)Radowsky of Niagara Falls. Nonno will be sadly missed, but always remembered by his grandchildren Noah, Hailey and Nicholas, whom he adored. Nonno will watch over you always. Dearest brother of Mario (Rosa) Cardo of St. Catharines and Salvatore of Italy. Cherished son-in-law of Pietro and Giovanna Di Vincenzo. Brother-in-law and best friend of Victor Di Vincenzo. Predeceased by his parents Elena and Vito Antonio, his brother Giuseppe of Italy and sister-in-law Emelia Di Vencenzo. Dearest Uncle of Anthony (Rita) Cardo, Mark Cardo, Michael Di Vincenzo and fiance Kim and Amy Di Vincenzo. Special great uncle to Mia and Nico Cardo Also to mourn his passing in his beloved Aunt Carmella Damiano of St. Catharines and Maria Nero in Sault Ste. Marie. Frank will be sadly missed by cousins Mary (John) Kruise, Annette (Pino) Falletta, Angie (Alfie) D'Uva. Special cousin and Godfather to Lina (Dan) McLean. Frank is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 10:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 11:00am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:00pm. Memorial remembrances to Tender Wishes or Sick Childrens Hospital would be appreciated by the family. The Cardo family would like to thank Dante and Judy, Elio and Verna, Sisto and Libby, Ozzie and Josephine, Frank and Ginette, Sid Katcherian and George Soupionis, for their never ending love and visits.
