Obituary of Norma Da Costa

Da Costa, Norma - On Friday March 24, 2006 at the Hotel Dieu - Shaver Rehab with her loving family by her side in her 87th year. Loving sister to Errol Pinard (Evelyn) of Trinidad, Vernon Pinard (Rita) of St.Catharines, Cynthia Pantin (Robert) of St. Catharines, Bernice Prada (Charles) of St.Catharines, Claire Pinard and Arline Pereira (Arnold) of St.Catharines. Also survived by her sister-in-law Monica Da Costa, aunt-in-law of Ann de Montbruin and many nieces and nephews. Predecased by her husband John (1997), brother Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Pinard, Thelma Hordatt, Marjorie Hodgson and Eugene Pinard. A special thanks to Dr. Bill Leung and the nurses at the Shaver Hospital for your kindness and support for Norma. Mrs. Da Costa is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton, until Monday at 11am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's church at 11:30am. Cremation to follow the church service. Visiting hours Sunday 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances may be made to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimers Society.
