Obituary of Norman Charles Hubbard
HUBBARD NORMAN CHARLES After a courageaous battle with cancer, Norm passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital NHS on March 2nd, 2006, at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Judy (Dennis) for 40 years. Proud and loving father of Geoffrey (Tricia) and Gregory. He will be sadly missed by sisters Pat Hiller (David) of Calgary and Carolyn Milson (Bob) of St. Catharines. Dearly loved son in law of Paul and Jean Dennis, brother in law of Sandra Easby, Barbara (Mike) TeDesco, Glenn (Cathy) Dennis of Calgary, Joe Easby and Nancy Hubbard. Predeceased by parents Wilf and Pat Hubbard. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by dear friends Patsy and Jim MaGarrey, as well as many others.He will be remembered for his strength, courage and sense of humour. He met his illness with determination and greeted each day with a positive attitude. We will miss his zest for and enjoyment of life and travel. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Norm's Life will be held in the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Tuesday March 7th at 4pm. The family will receive friends from 2 pm till time of service. Memorial remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. R. Shao and the nursing staff of the Oncology Unit and Palliative Care Unit for their care.
