Obituary of Nora Cecile Katrynuk
Katrynuk Nora Cecile (nee: Whibbs) R.N. Suddenly, at her residence, on Sunday February 12, 2006, at 57 years of age. Beloved mother of Jason and Mary-Ann of Oakville. Loving wife of Bill. Cherished daughter of Mary Whibbs of Peterborough and loving sister of Gus and Lynn of Cobourg, Mary Vincent of Red Deer, Alberta, Marg Nowak of California, Terry and Marg Whibbs of Mississauga. Sister in law of all of the Katrynuk's. Predeceased by her brothers John and Paul Whibbs. Nora will be lovingly remembered by her many family and friends.
Nora graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing with the Class of 69'. She was formerly employed as a registered nurse with Thompson Products and Beamsville Medical Centre. She was past president of the Lupus Foundation and a member of St. Denis Church.
Nora is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 10:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Denis Church at 11am. Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3pm. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Lupus Foundation of Ontario or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
