Obituary of Osbourne Thomas Kent

KENT OSBORNE (Ossie)Peacefully, with his family by his side, on Friday February 10th 2006 at the Niagara on the Lake Hospital, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret, for 54 wonderful years. Loving father of Tom (Alyson) Kent, Louanne (Gren) Keast. Cherished grandpa of Samantha, Sarah and Nicole Kent, Stephanie (Matt), Rachel and Richard Keast.. Great grandpa of Anthony Keast. Dear brother of May of Scotland. predeceased by his sisters Rita and Anna. Ossie was employed with the St. Catharines Standard for 30 years. He served with the British Army in WW11 and was a member of thew Port Dalhousie Legion. Mr. Kent is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. where a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday at 6pm. Visiting hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 5-6pm. Memorial remembrances, in lieu of flowers to Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
