Obituary of Bruna Lavorato

Lavorato, Bruna (neePirritano) - On January 21, 2006 at the St.Catharines General Hospital - NHS in her 61st year. Beloved wife to Peter for 39 years. Loving mother to Robert (Cindy) of St. Catharines and David (Selena) of Mississauga. Cherished Nonna to Victoria and Adam. Survived by her brothers Bruno, Salvatore and Joe, and sisters Francescina, Natalina and Rose and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Francesco and Eleanora and brother Antonio. Bruna will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. Mrs. Lavorato will be resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday January 25, 2006 at 10:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church (272 Vine St.) at 11am. Rite of Committal will take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fonthill. Visiting hours for Bruna will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday January 24, 2006 between 2-4 and 7-9m. Vigil Prayers will be said on Tuesday at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances for Bruna may be made to either the Down Syndrome Caring Parents Niagara (DSCPN) or Aplastic Anemia (Sick Children's Hospital in Toronto).
