Obituary of John Francis Langton

Langton, John Francis July 26, 1950-January 15, 2006 At St. Catharines General Hospital. Beloved son of Frances (Michaud) and the late Harold Langton. Predeceased by his sister Sheila. Leaving to mourn his sister Ellen (David Slevin), Ottawa, his brother Patrick (Lori Lindsay) and his brother-in-law Stan Carny, Montreal. Survived by nieces and nephews Stefan and Claire Carny, Andrew, Matthew, Ryan and Sean Langton, Jennifer and Andrea Slevin. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. John was a former longtime employee of W.S. Tyler Canada Ltd. Cremation has taken place. John's family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in Ottawa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice.
