I was very sorry to learn of Mary's recent death. As a former student at Hudson Public School, I have nothing but fond memories of Mrs. Wren both as a teacher and person. Then and now I think of her with great respect and affection. Mary could do it all.. on one hand be a "hard ass" when the moment called for it and also very warm and open. To refer to her as a "grand lady" is no understatement.
I offer my deep condolences to the members of Mary's family.
