I went to Lockview for grades 7&8, but I always remember those talks with her and how she always had a smile on her face. Mme. Chausse you were very highly thought of, and those students who were lucky enough to have met you will always look back on those memories of you. One memory I will keep forever, is how she used to always ask me if I was still chewing gum (because it wasn't allowed), and yes Mme. Chausse, I still am. God Bless You, you truly were a wonderful person.

Madamme Chausse was my grade 4 teacher at Lakebreeze and I have very fond memories of her. She was a fantastic teacher and genuinely cared about her students. Not only do I feel badly for her family and friends at this time, but I also feel badly for those students who will not have the opportunity to have her as a teacher. She was a wonderful woman. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.

First of All, the Chilvers Family (Kandace, Kelsey, and Daniel) send their deepest and most sincere condolences to the entire Chausse family. Words cannot fully express the void that has been left in our hearts from losing such an amazing person.
Madame Chausse was a very special person to me. She was my grade 5 teacher from September 2004 - June 2005. I always knew that if I was feeling down, Madame would be there with her smile, to make sure that everything was okay. She was a kind and generous woman, and touched the hearts and souls of many students through the years. I think that she has touched everyone that she ever met in some way. She will always hold a very special spot in my heart and will forever be remembered by me.
Madame, I will never forget what I have learned from you and I miss you already!!!
Love Kelsey.

I had the pleasure of being in Mme Chausse's Gr.5 Class of 2000. I will never forget the things she did for me and my classmates. I never really read going into Gr.5 but she spent the time in teaching me and finding the right books for me to read. I now love reading and I have to thank her for that. She was loved by all her students, and won't be forgotten by any of them. And don't worry Mme, I'll make sure Pj and Jeff don't talk in class. Thank you for making gr.5 one of the best years of my life.

I will always remember Sandra with very fond memories. I will remember her as my french teacher in grade 5 and 6 who inspired me to go into french immersion. I will remember her as a great example of a woman. She carried herself with such grace, showed strength and vulnerability all at the same time. A woman that many of us would try to emulate. Most of all, I will remember her as my friend. She had a talent of reading people's emotions and listening incredibly well. All she needed to do was look at me with her sincerest gaze and I could tell her why I wasn't having a good day. She didn't have to say a word, just a hug and it would make me feel better.
Sandra will be sadly missed. I feel very blessed that I was able to travel with her to Greece. I am grateful to have spent so much time in her presence. I was better to have known her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Sincerely,
Joanne and Evan Apostolakis
