Obituary of John Boyd

Boyd, John - After a courageous battle with cancer on December 28, 2005 at the Hotel Dieu - Shaver Rehab. Devoted husband to Margaret for over 55 years. Cherished father to Caroline (Al). Loving grandfather to Jamie (Cara) and Alisen Bowman (Craig). Will be sadly missed by his great-grandchildren Alexis and Colin. Survived by his sister Helen Davis (Phil) and his neices Julie, Irene, Ann, Joy and nephews Myles and John. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Archie. John will be reunited with his best friend (brother-in-law) Alex where once again the two will be doing their "turn." John is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Monday January 2, 2006 at the George Darte Funeral Chapel at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to be made to either the Alzheimer's Society, Canadian Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
