Obituary of Raymond Laureat Thibodeau
THIBODEAU, Raymond
Died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday December 25, 2005 in his 81st year. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Claire (Weir) Thibodeau and loving children, Luc ( Denise), Patricia (Richard), Paul ( Judith), Michel ( Sue), Thérèse, James Patrick (Colleen), and his grandchildren, Kimberley (Sylvain) and Alexandra Harvey, Louis-Philippe (Mélisa), Catherine and Victoria Green, Louise-Andrée, Marie-Michèle (predeceased), Simon, the Szaszi children, Stephen, Jessica, Gordon, Aryezon and Stéphane Boudrias, Margaret and Suzanne. Dear brother of Berthe, Thérèse, Rollande, Marie-Marthe, Raynald (predeceased) and Jacques ( predeceased), Laurent, Yvan, Réal, Micheline, Jean-Guy, Suzanne, Lise and their families. Also fondly remembered by the Weir family. Raymond worked for the Metropolitan Insurance Company in Sherbrooke and Montréal, Québec. He retired as a manager from the St. Catharines Branch after being with the company for 36 years. Raymond's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, Wednesday 7-9 pm and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be held from the Star of the Sea Church, Port Dalhousie on Friday, December 30, 2005 at 10:30am. Cremation to follow. Vigil prayers will be recited at the funeral home Thursday at 8:15pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
