Stoddart, Charles (Chuck)
Chuck passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday December 24, 2005. Beloved husband of 56 years and best friend of Jessie (Erskine). Much loved father and grandfather of Rob (Gail) Stoddart, Emily and Ian; Susan (Eric) Marshall, Kelly and Kevan and Don (Deb) Stoddart, Alexandra, Hayley and Carson. Dear brother of Lloyd Stoddart and brother-in-law of Helen Linton; Marie Holmes; Nancy and Bob Richardson and Susan Erskine. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Chuck was a retired employee of General Motors. He spent many retirement years golfing, travelling and teaching his grandchildren to swim. Special thanks to Nancy the Palliative Care Nurse, Dr. Sandra Hartman, C.C.A.C., and the Red Cross Home Care Workers for all their compassionate care to Chuck and his family. Chuck's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL 585 Carlton Street St. Catharines Thursday December 29, 2005 from 1 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Society of Canada, Tender Wishes Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
