Obituary of Arline Arvella Munn
MUNN, ARLINE - Peacefully on Saturday December 17, 2005 at her home, at 81 years of age. Beloved wife of Delbert for 61 years. Devoted mother of Tom (Winnipeg, MB), Penny (Grossi), Terry and Randy all from St. Catharines.
Loving Nana of 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Arline is survived by her step-brother, Libby Laine (Alberta) but predeceased by many relatives since infancy. Arline will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends. Most will remember Arline's baked goods together with never ending pots of tea sipped around the kitchen table where many conversations took place and her gifts of your favourite homemade baked goods for special occasions that she never forgot about. Recently, her family found out that she was a stenographer for high profile court martial hearings during her WWII service as a private in the Canadian Armed Forces. Arline's departure was extremely unexpected by all but knowing she is resting peacefully is a blessing. At Arline's request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the George Darte Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke or Kidney Foundations would be appreciated by the family.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Arline
