Obituary of Catherine Ruane

RUANE, Catherine Moyra (McGloin) Died in the presence of her family on December 10,2005 at the St.Catharines General Hospital. Also of Ballyvary, Co.Mayo, Ireland. She will be forever remembered by her husband Peter, children Siobhan and Peadar, son-in-law Martin and grandson Liam. Deeply missed by her sister Menia in Ireland , brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and large circle of friends. She touched many lives through her dedicated service as a nurse. She's now in the company of her parents and siblings Louis, Paddy, Martin and his wife Mary. Beyond that, her absence will be profoundly felt by many others. May she rest in peace. Moyra's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, December 13th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers at the funeral home on Tuesday at 3pm. Funeral Liturgy on Wednesday, December 14th at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria at 9:30am. Interment will take place in Ireland at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Arthritis Society would be kindly appreciated by the family.
