Obituary of Lois Marion Quill

Quill, Lois (nee Sheldrick) - Lois passed away peacefully surrounded by love and family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday October 21, 2005. She had fought cancer gracefully and bravely. Lois was the beloved wife of the late John Quill. Mother of Michael Quill (Kelly) and their children Steven, Mikey, Emily and John and great-grandchildren Jayden and Arianna. Lois is survived by brothers Wayne and Marvin and sister Gail. The final lesson we teach our children is how we handle the news of our own end. Lois handled this news with the utmost dignity and grace. The one thing we always prayed for was that the Good Lord would take her without making her suffer and he answered our prayers. Mom, we'll love you always, Mike and Kelly. Lois is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 27, 2005 between 2-4 and 7-9pm and Friday October 28, 2005 from 10:00-11:15am. A funeral service will take place on Friday October 28, 2005 at St. Paul Street United Church at 1:30pm followed by a reception in the Church. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara.
