I had the honour to have known Dr. Brosnan as a patient and as a friend. He was a great joy to know and his love of life and people have given light to many grey and dull lives. I remember with great fondness our conversations at the Prince of Wales Health Club and at the Gate House Restaurant. We are all sad to know that there will be no more conversations, no more meetings, but rejoice because we knew this unique soul.
Please accept my expression of sympathy at this most difficult time.

I'm not sure if Marina will remember me but, in the 60's, when the farm was at Pelham Union I was a regular at the barn (my parents owned the General Store at Putt's Inn). As a "horse crazy" teenager I was lucky to have Dr. Brosnan as well as another neighbour who had horses. Marina and Dr. Brosnan were very patient with me; they didn't seem to mind having a kid hang around asking a million questions. When I saw the photo of Dr. Brosnan he looked just as I remembered him - with that happy look and a gleam in his eye.
I am so sorry to hear about his passing; I know you'll miss him terribly.

John 14:27: Peace I leave you, my peace I give unto you : not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 2 Corninthian 4:8-9: We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed, we are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed. Job 12:12-13: With the ancient is wisdom, and in length of days is understanding. With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding. Isaiah 2:3: And he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.

I was very sorry to learn of Dr. Brosnan's passing. Although I knew him briefly, he was a doctor and dear friend to my father for many years. Upon the passing of my father, John Storgato, a few years ago, Dr. Brosnan took the time to visit with my family and share his kind thoughts and memories. I can not express how comforting his words and actions were to us. I know that my father enjoyed all the "farm chats" that they shared and truly respected him, for the gentleman, professional, and warm-hearted friend that we was.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this difficult time.

Many hugs and more hugs to Dr. Brosnan's family and friends . It's very sad to hear of his passing . Dr. Brosnan was the best ear surgeon, specialist I ever met. It was very comforting walking up that long walkway on Ontario Street , down the stairs into his office with the pictures of his horses on the wall knowing he was the Doctor to make the excruciating ouchies in my ears go away . I always felt really good when Dr. Brosnan walked in the room either at his office or in the hospital when he looked at me , he always made me feel loved and cared for even though I was just a patient of his. Dr. Brosnan was always very careful and gentle working on my ears, he knew exactly how to do the procedures so it wouldn't hurt more. Dr. Brosnan was my ear doctor from my birth until his retirement , thirty something years . I've been searching for over ten years now for another doctor to make these ouchies go away but still unable to find another Dr. Brosnan :( I miss you Dr. Brosnan and thank you for 30 pain free years. xoxo Robin

You can shed tears that he is gone,
Or you can smile because he lived,
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.
In my thoughts
