Obituary of Rita Ellen Russell

Russell- RitaAt the St. Catharines General Hospital, Niagara Health Site on Wednesday September 28, 2005 Rita (Colgan) Russell in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Russell (2002) and loving mother of Tom Russell of Toronto and Sue Laflamme (Peter) of Saskatchewan. She will be lovingly remembered by her two grand-daughter's Monique and Jill. Dear sister of Clare Hodgson of Mississauga. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Rita was predeceased by her son Hugh (1991) and sisters Ruth and Joan. Friends and relatives will be received at the George Darte Funeral Chapel 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines Friday September 30, 2005 from 7-9 p.m.. Funeral mass to celebrate Rita's life will be held on Saturday October 1, 2005 at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Ave. St. Catharines at 10 a.m. Burial of the cremated body will follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home Friday evening at 7:30. A reception will follow back at the funeral home in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall.
