Obituary of Anne Niesink

NIESINK, Anne (Rensen)October 1st - 1937 - September 24th - 2005Following a lengthy illness Anne passed into eternity, where we will meet again. She leaves behind her loving husband Frank, dear children Rick (Kerry), Paul (Rita), Cathy (Paul) and Marcel. Muched love Oma of Jennifer, Kimberly, Colleen, Brandon, Joshua, Bazil and Dexter. Predeceased by her parents Julia and Hendrik, brothers Gerrit, Jan, August and sister Mia. Survived by sisters Lien & Juul and extended family. Anne was always an active person. For more than 20 years she looked after the food for events sponsored by Club The Netherlands and she was made an honorary member. For a number of years she was member of the Board of Directors of Community Living-St. Catharines For many years she was the liaison for the Netherlands Bazaar in Thornhill. She was a former PTA member of Our Lady of Fatima school, current member of St.Julia CWL, the Mount Carmel Family Club and the Friends of Titus Brandsma. You are invited to an evening Prayer Service which will be held at St. Julia R.C Church at Glenridge & Glen Morris on Tuesday September 27th at 7:30PM The Funeral Liturgy takes place at St. Julia Church on Wednesday September 28th at 10:00AM Interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill, following the Mass. Arrangement by George Darte Funeral Home. In lieu of Flowers, if you wish, donations in memory of Anne may be made to "Community Living - St. Catharines" 437 Welland Ave-St.Catharines L2M 5V2 This money will be used toward improvements at Marcel's group home.
