Obituary of Norman Sheffe
SHEFFE, Norman
In his 82nd year, peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital, on Wednesday, September 14, 2005. Norman will be missed by his wife Lois, his son Stephen (and Lisa) of St. Catharines, his daughter Nora (and Joe) of Ottawa, his grandchildren Benn and Jane Van Ryn and several nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States.
He taught history for several years at both Merritton and Grantham High Schools and enjoyed his years as a consultant at the Lincoln County Board of Education. Norman was a voracious reader and an author or co-author of over 20 history books.
Cremation has taken place.
Norman's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, September 17th from 12-1pm with a memorial service to celebrate Norman's life taking place in the funeral home chapel at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Norman
