Obituary of Gloria Wittig

Wittig, Gloria Mary - Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the St. Catharines General Hospital - NHS on September 8, 2005. Loving wife for 62 years of Wilf (2003). Dear mother of Bob & Debbie; Bill & Diane; Sandra and Charlie Wheeler; James, Chris & Alison all of St. Catharines. Loving grandma of Jason & Petra, Justin and Michelle, Jamie, Ethan and Melanie, Amy and Josh, Stella, Patrick and Rob, Ashley, William and Connor , Jack and Nicholas. Greatgrandma of Jason Jr. and Jeff, Sarah, Noah and Meghan. Survived by her sisters Frances Shantz and Josephine Hearn. Gloria will sadly missed by her family. Gloria is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. Visitation will be held on Saturday September 10, 2005 and Sunday September 11, 2005 between 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will take place Sunday at 3pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church on Monday September 12, 2005 at 11am. Interment will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Gloria's memory to either the Lung Association or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
