It is with graet sadness and tears rolling dowm my cheeks that Wendy and I would like to offer our sypathies. I can only echo Brian's words. Some of my most fond as a child centre around St Catherines and Uncle Ken and Aunt Jean. With moving around thru my adult life with the army I had few chances to see Uncle Ken, but on the occasion I did it was a wonderful time. He was a great man. His infectious smile and laughter made everyone he met feel truly welcome in his life. Wendy's first meeting with Uncle Ken occured when I was home on leave from Petawawa with a friend. Two young ladies came over to see us (1 being Wendy). Uncle Ken came outside and being the impish fellow he was asked me which one I was going to (well you know). Without missing a beat Wendy said probably me. It wasn't often Uncle Ken was without a quirky comeback, but this stopped him cold. Wendy still remembers this first encounter with laughter in her heart. Heaven is without a doubt a much happier and joyous place with his arrival and I am sure when St Peter needs a break he will ask Uncle Ken to welcome people at the gates. He will and has always been a man of great charater and is truly missed.

Ken was a decent nice man. Our mutual relatives were Ludlows, Boones & Rideouts from Sydney Mines & Cape Breton. I saw Ken various times when I worked at General Motors & he was always pleasant & helpful. Unfortunately, I can't make his funeral but certainly, his memory is valuable to me. The boxing interests was always the source of our conversations. Hank Boone, Olympic boxing coach & founder of the St. Catharines Boxing Club & Boone's Boxing in Niagara Falls. I wish Ken's family well during this difficult time. Hank Boone

Merle & Ken and families - Sam & I send our deepest condolences on the loss of your father & my uncle. I was heartbroken to hear the news. Uncle Ken had a special place in my heart because of his strong sense of humor. He found humor in everything and always made you feel blessed to know him. He will be sadly missed but ALWAYS have a place in my heart.

Ken, Susan and Simone: Katy and I send our deepest sympathies and equally deep regrets that we can't be there in person. We love the idea cf Ed Murphy playing Copper's guitar at the service -- a beautiful gesture of the passing of the torch. I met Copper only a handful of times but I always felt a subtle kind of tribal, Celtic-blood kinship with him, and I was honoured when he told me he felt the same way. But then, I will always feel that way about ALL the Ludlows...
with love from James & Katy

It was sad to read about Kens passing. I had the great pleasure as a millwright in the GM Foundry to work with Ken as our Super. He was always easy to talk to, (I married a girl from New Waterford) so I could understand him. From my family to Ken's, Gods Prayers, we will meet again.
