Obituary of Maria Gizzo

Gizzo, Maria Peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at St. Catharines General Hospital at 80 years of age. Beloved wife of Carmine, loving mother of Tony and his wife Tina; and Nick, dear nonna of Mary and Mario, Carmelina and Dwayne, Peter and Michelle and great nonna of Nicholas, Dealya, Bailey and Brayden. Mrs. Gizzo was a member of St. Alfred's Church. Mrs. Gizzo is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where family will receive friends on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home on Sunday at 3 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church on Monday at 9:30 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
