On Saturday, August 6th, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer, George passed away at home with his sons by his side. He is now at peace with his beloved Nan. His was a life well-lived, and he was fortunate to share it with so many good friends. George's family would especially like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the many wonderful friends who offered such support, companionship and care throughout George's illness. A very special thank-you also goes out to Dr. Bill Lucey, Dr. Sandra Hartman and Nurse Merette Pozzebon who cared for George with great skill and compassion throughout.
