Obituary of Mary (Mae) Ripper

RIPPER, Mary (Mae) Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 4th, 2005 at Versa Care Centre in her 83rd year. Devoted wife of Harvey for 53 years and loving mother of Peter, Kevin (Cathy), Tim (Bertha) and Rosemary. Grandmother of Jesse and Nikki. Also survived by her 2 sisters Elizabeth MacDonald and Irene Grumett. Predeceased by her brother Toby Hishon and her sisters Frances Burtch and Theresa Skeoch. Mary was a 50 year member of the C.W.L., most recently at St. Alfred's and a volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul for almost 30 years. Mary's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, August 5th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Vigil Prayers at the funeral home on Friday at 3pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street , St. Catharines on Saturday, August 6th at 9:30am. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the St Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family.
