My Dear Friend Brigitte
Brigitte and I met when she contacted me about adopting one of my cockatiel babies. She chose a pearl male and called him Cajun. This little feathered comapnion was the love of her life and she relished in spoiling him daily. He spent most of his waking hours on Brigitte's shoulder and even learned to make the sound of Brigitte brushing her teeth! He was indeed one very loved wee parrot! Brigitte and I became fast friends and whenever I had a clutch of baby parrots, she'd come for the afternoon and play with them, encouraging them and socilaizung them. It was wonderful to see how they responded to her gentle, kind way. She spoke often of her family and was paramount in aquiring the best care possible for her mother. She was like a sister to me and I will miss her terribly...

My Big Sister! You were always there for me, listening intently, caring and watching over me. You attended every family function and enjoyed Vito's cooking. You loved your nephews Nick and Andrew and made a point of discussing their favourite topics. When you became ill, it was my turn to listen, to care for you, to make sure you were not alone and to let you know that I was there for you and Rene now and forever. I love you and miss you so much already... Love you always, your little sister, France, Vito, Nick and Andrew.

I am so sorry for the loss of Brigitte, a truly wonderful woman. I was at the funeral mass today but somehow did not see the guest book. She was a good friend and I have great memories of times we spent together. I will always remember her infectious laugh and great sense of humour. I hope you can all find peace during this difficult time.

Dear France and Family,
My heart aches for you all at this time of sorrow. I too lost my sister Viviane to the evil disease of cancer! My sister was 50! Brigette and Viviane were way too young to die! The way I look at it is that God must have a plan for them. He needs them more than we do. My Dad also died of cancer! I can truly feel your loss and please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you....I had the privilidge of meeting Brigitte one time and it was a pleasure. May you rest in peace Brigitte.

A few words of remembrance
Brigitte exemplified perfection, did everything with such grace and poise, meticulous with details, all wonderful qualities that made her special.
She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend and all that knew her were captivated by her beauty. Not just by her outer beauty but truly for the beautiful person that she was. Patient, kind and understanding she was a loyal and trusted confidant.
Family meant a great deal to her and she always made time for hers. Family gatherings and functions were always high on her list and one couldn't of asked for a better sister. A wonderful daughter who so lovingly looked after her mother's needs and care. She raised a wonderful son that she can be so proud of.
She had a wit about her, and when she smiled one could see the sparkle in her eyes. She was just so alive and full of life.
Brigitte will truly be missed by all, our family will forever feel the void.

My sweet Brigitte & my best friend. I will miss you Sorella Mia. I have known Brigitte since I was 9 years old. We lived next door to each other as children. We were very close to each other. Our thoughts & prayers are with you, Rene, Martine, France, Peter & to your Mother. May God bless all of you. Rest in peace my dear friend. You will live in my heart forever.
