Obituary of Alfred (Fred) Raymond Verroche

Beloved husband of 50 years to Ebba (Andersen) and loving father of Lanna Verroche of Toronto and Tim (Joanne) Verroche of St. Catharines. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ben and Sydney. Dear brother of Margaret Sorbara and Joan Luck both of St. Catharines. He is also survived by one aunt Mary Veroche and several nieces and nephews. Fred owned and operated the Garden City Motors, Ford Dealership with his father Frank for 3 decades. He then semi-retired where he owned and operated Niagara Yacht Inc. He was a life long member of the Dalhousie Yacht Club and member of St. Julia Roman Catholic Church. Fred's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be held in St. Julia Roman Catholic Church 251 Glenridge Ave. St. Catharines on Monday September 17, 2007 at 11 am. Cremation to follow. Vigil prayers will be said at the funeral home Sunday at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
