Obituary of Aileen Poirier
Poirier, Vivian Aileen (nee Stickley)- Passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS on Sunday, September 2, 2007. Beloved companion and wife of 35 years, of Alphonse. Cherished and loving mother to the late Brian Mathe (1996), Donald (Mary) Mathe, and to Beverley (Ed) Krupa. Special grandma to Brandon and Jordan. Loving sister to the late Gwen Lafranier (1989), and to Donald (Cory) Stickley. Also survived by nieces and nephews, Larry Lafranier, Debbie Prno, Brenda Tims. Vivian will be missed by many brother and sister-in-laws. Predeceased by her parents Cecilia (1986) and Nelson Stickley (1982). Mrs. Poirier's family will receive guests at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., on Wednesday, from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. A celebration of Aileen's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, September 6, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow, with an inurnment to take place in Victoria Lawn Cemetery, at later date. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Sick Children's Hospital.
