Obituary of George Frederick

Frederick , George Passed away peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at the age of 87. He is now reunited with his wife Anne, who predeceased him in 2002 after 62 years of marriage. Survived by his daughters, Ann (Roy) Atamanuk, Kate (Larry) Claringbold, Madlyn (Larry) Christie, Gina (Rick) Moscrop, and Nadine, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Predeceasee by his sisters Mary Dumont and Annie Brasseur and 2 grandsons. George worked at Direct Winters Transport for over 40years and in his retirement he spent his time traveling and refurbishing bicycles. The family will receive visitors at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday evening, August 26th, from 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, August 27th, at 11 am, at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 91 Lakeshore Rd., St. Catharines. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
