Obituary of Erik Hedemann

Hedemann Erik (Pete) Born April 18th, 1955 in Neuilly-Sur-Seine, France. Passed suddenly, on Friday August 10th, 2007, with his loving wife by his side, at his residence. Beloved husband and best friend of Karen for 25 wonderful years. Cherished son of Liliane and the late Hans Hedemann. Dear and much loved brother of Viviane (John). Dear son-in-law of Gordon and the late Rosemary Misener. Dear brother-in-law of Richard (Diane), Ronald (Wilma), Terry (Patti), Lynda (Tony), Connie (Mike). Erik will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and family in France, Niagara Falls (New York), California, Nevada, Texas, Denmark and Australia. Erik was a dedicated Marine Engineer, who executed his duties with integrity and commitment. His memory will live on through the nature he loved and the hearts of the many people he touched. Erik is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday at 9 am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Cathedral of St Catherine of Alexandria, Church St. St. Catharines at 9:30 am. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7- 9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 2 pm. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association or Open Arms Missions, Welland would be appreciated by the family.
