Suzanne and family,
I will greatly miss Norm's wonderful sense of humour; his bracelet & necklace-making antics and competitive salesmanship, his penchant for pedicures, his festive garb at Summer Lovin'...above all, I will miss his tremendous spirit and drive that imbued the campaign to ensure his daughter's health. He will be missed. Blessings and love, Cathy Marostica

Janet, Suzanne, Brenden, Gerald and family,
We were lucky and thankful to feel included and a part of your large and extended family. Going to your home was always like coming home to our own family. I enjoyed being around Norm, he always made you feel important and he took such a genuine and heartfelt interest in other people and their stories. He was generous in his spirit, his time, his home, his attention, his humour. He was a one of a kind person who touched many people no matter how brief their meeting was. He loved his family so fully and lived his life so well and decently. Our hearts and thoughts go out to all of you. He will be missed by many.

My thoughts and prayers have been with you Suzanne for a long time. I pray that you and your family pull from the strength your father gave you with your own battle. I think often of the good times we had at DM. You have always respected the strength of your father. Bless all who endear the true meaning of family. Love Mic

Dear Jennie:
We met years ago but you may not remember me. I worked with Norm as a fellow Review Officer, Director, and Commissioner for about twelve years.
Norm was a charming man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I always admired his optimism and his dedication to his family and to Suzanne's fight.
You have our deepest sympathy in dealing with his sudden and devastating death which must be very difficult for you to accept.
Unfortunately, we are unable to attend the celebration of his life on Saturday evening but are thoughts will be with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Ann and Gerry Peers

To the family of Norm. Just a short note to say how sorry I am on the passing of your husband and father. I started serving Norm as a cashier at the Ridley I.G.A. about 18 years ago. He grew to be one of my favorite customers to serve. Later I got a job at Pilgrim Meats and one day in came Norm. So then I got to serve him there too. He always came through the door with a smile and a story. I will always remember him as one of my favorite people to serve. He had a wonderful heart. May God be near to all of you at this time. Judy

Norm's year as a room-mate in 1967-68 at the Valhalla Apartments is a special memory for me. You couldn't ask for a better roomie: always otimistic, always willing to pitch-in, always making visitors feel welcome.
We've lost a special person.
My condolences to all.
