Unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, August 7th at the age of 50.
Much loved fiance of Bruce Shale and mother of Gerry (Marjorie) Steele and Jennifer (Ken) Wirt. Devoted nanny of Connor and Cameron. Also survived by many brothers, sisters, other family and friends.
Debbie's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, August 11th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, August 12th at 11am. In accordance to her wishes, cremation will follow the service with a private inurnment at a later date in Newfoundland. In memory of her father, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
