Obituary of Karin Wininger

WININGER Karin (nee Kettner) - While among loving family and friends, passed away on August 2, 2007 in St. Catharines. Karin, in her 41st year, was a source of abundant spirit, strength and inspiration throughout her battle with cancer. Loving wife of Dean and caring mom of Daniel and Mitchell, she will be sadly missed by her mother †œGabby†�, brother Mike and wife Mary. Karin has joined her father Rolf and will remain a cherished daughter-in-law to David and Jan Wininger, Diane Wininger, a beautiful sister-in-law to David and Patty, Donald and Trish and Dixon, a fun-loving aunt to Amanda, Andrew, Victoria, David, Richard, James, Lauren, Brandon and Conner. Karin was an energetic soul who loved sports and had a developing career in automotive services. Her friendly smile and vibrant personality will be fondly remembered by those who were touched by her life that ended far too soon. Her family would like to thank so many friends for their prayers and companionship and to the wonderful support from Karin and Dean†™s employers Performance Cars Ltd. and Genaire Ltd. A special thanks to all those who planned and attended Karin†™s benefit. Many thanks to the dedicated professionals at Henderson Hospital. Visitation will be at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Saturday August 4th from 2 p.m. †" 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.. A memorial service at the Funeral Home will take place on Sunday, August 5th at 1:00 p.m. If desired, expressions of sympathy can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
