Obituary of Ignacy Grobelny

Grobelny, IgnacyPeacefully passed away at St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday, July 20, 2007 in his 85th year. He will be reunited with his late wife, Maria, and his daughter Zdzislawa (Gigi) Liszak. Survived by his son Walter Gorbelny and his wife, Maria, Genowefa Porzuczek, Grace Geyer , Renata Romono and their spouses. He will be missed and remembered by his 18 grandchildren and his 11 great grandchildren. Dziadziu will be missed. Dear brother of Piotr and his wife Jozeta Grobelny of Poland. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and family. Predeceased by one brother, Stanislaw and sister, Zofia, both of Poland. Ignacy's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton Street Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Monday July 23, 2007at 10 am. Interment to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be recited at the funeral home Sunday at 7 pm. If desired memorial donations may be made to St. Catharines General Hospital Oncology Unit.
