Obituary of Giovanni De Rosa

De Rosa, Giovanni Died peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 78 years of age. Beloved husband of Immacolata for 49 years, loving father of Robert (Bernice), Maria (Daniel), Vince (Carm), Anna (Terry), and Nick (Suzanne), dear Nonno of Johnathan, Rebecca, Daniel, Robert, Johnny, Chase, William, Madison, Michael and Luca, dear brother of Carmela (the late Pelligrino), the late Diodoro (Diodorina), the late Antonio (the late Immacolata). He will be sadly missed by his family, but will be lovingly remembered always, but especially with the blossom of each peach on his farm. Mr. De Rosa was a member of St. Alfred's Church. Mr. De Rosa is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 11 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m. Memorial Remembrances can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
